TOMSK, April 25 – RIA Tomsk. Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics (TUSUR) opened a festival on Thursday, bringing together leading specialists in domestic radioelectronics, students and schoolchildren; The event will be held in a total of 16 universities across the country, TUSUR Rector Viktor Rulevsky announced on Thursday in his Telegram channel.
As specified on the TUSUR website, the VI Radioelectronics Festival is planned simultaneously at the sites of TUSUR, the Moscow Power Engineering Institute (MPEI), the National Research Nuclear University “MEPhI”, the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU), the Siberian Federal University and others.
“Today, the Radio Electronics Festival starts at the sites of 16 universities in the country. Our festival has become a good tradition, and new laboratories, enterprises, and universities are joining it. The festival brings together talented students, graduate students, and schoolchildren who are interested in radio electronics. The festival sites in different cities of our country are aimed at “to interest, to introduce to the industry, which is actively developing today,” Rulevsky said in his video message.
He added that TUSUR and other universities will not only introduce them to the industry, but will also help young people become competent specialists or successful scientists.

As indicated in the rector’s post, at the TUSUR site on Thursday, students can communicate with employees of the country’s leading companies: Element Group, Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk, Mikran, UPKB Detal, Oil Refinery, EleSi, RSC Energia “and others. On Friday, April 26, about 100 talented Tomsk schoolchildren will take part in robotics competitions as part of the festival.
According to information from the TUSUR website, the festival program includes several tracks: a career guidance track for schoolchildren and students, where they can communicate with company representatives; industry track to discuss issues of training engineering personnel; competition track with robotics competitions.
