Near Chelyabinsk, a passenger train hit a 51-year-old resident who was crossing the tracks in a prohibited place. As a result of the incident, the man died. The details were provided by the press service of the Central Interregional Investigation Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

The tragedy occurred on Wednesday, April 24, on the Chelyabinsk-Emanzhelinsk section.

“A pre-investigation check has been organized under Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of traffic safety rules and operation of railway transport,” the department’s press service reported. “A set of initial verification measures is being carried out, all the circumstances of the incident are being established,” the department reported.

To avoid tragic consequences, do not cross railway tracks in the wrong places, but use crossing bridges, tunnels and decks.

And in January, in the village of Argayash, a schoolgirl was almost run over by a train that stopped at a pedestrian crossing. The girl wanted to crawl under the carriages, and at that moment the train began to move. A moment before the possible tragedy, the child was pulled out from under the wheels by a woman standing nearby. The incident was caught on video.
