It became known how much money in the Tula region has been spent on supporting military personnel and members of their families since the start of the special military operation in February 2022.

Thus, 2.7 billion rubles were allocated to support and equip SVO participants in the region. Another 2.5 billion went to help military families. This became known on April 25 at a meeting of the Tula Regional Duma.

There are about 60 social support measures in place for participants in the special operation in the Tula region. These include various payments, as well as social, psychological and legal assistance, sanatorium and resort treatment, assistance in retraining and employment.

On May 31, 2023, a branch of the State Fund “Defenders of the Fatherland” opened in the Tula region. His offices operate in all districts of the region. A curator is assigned to the family of each fighter. In less than a year, the Tula branch of the fund received more than 3,000 requests. 74% of them are completely closed.

Let us remind you that the Government of the Tula Region is constantly in touch with the command of the units where residents of the region serve. In addition, members of the regional Government visit our soldiers in hospitals and rehabilitation, and also visit their families.
