The idea of ​​the deputies to introduce Shaman songs into the school curriculum was reflected in Samara. Parents told Samara State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company about this.

In March 2024, members of the State Duma Committee on Education supported the initiative regarding the study of modern patriotic songs by schoolchildren. An appeal was sent to Minister Sergei Kravtsov, explaining that this would help instill in children a sense of love for the Motherland. The Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation was ready to consider the proposal.

Performers were also selected whose songs, in the opinion of parliamentarians, are patriotic and modern. These are Oleg Gazmanov, Nikolai Rastorguev (LUBE group) and SHAMAN.

According to a 2023 VTsIOM survey, in the minds of Russians, a patriotic song is a song about your small homeland, the place where you were born and raised, as well as about the nature and culture of all of Russia, about the achievements of the people. Almost a third of those surveyed associated it with military songs, and every seventh – with SVO.

“Among modern performers, according to Russians, there are those who can be called patriots. First of all, this is the performer of the song “I am Russian” Yaroslav Dronov (SHAMAN) – 28%. Every fifth person considers Oleg Gazmanov (22%) a patriotic musician, and every tenth Nikolai Rastorguev (group “LUBE),” says the VTsIOM study.

An assignment on music for 4th grade students from one of the city schools appeared in the electronic diary. It says that in the notebook you need to write down several songs included in the repertoire of Oleg Gazmanov, the group “LUBE“and Yaroslav Dronov (including “Requiem”, which SHAMAN wrote immediately after the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall).
