Voronezh. 04/25/2024. ABIREG.RU – In total, 18 current heads of constituent entities of the Russian Federation and one acting may go through the election procedure in 2024.

The well-known political scientist Evgeniy Minchenko, in a recent report on the political stability of governors, separately reflected the situation with those officials who will have to pass the stress test of the electoral procedure this year. As we remember, among them there are two black earth comrades – Mr. Artamonov, who heads the Lipetsk government, and Mr. Starovoit, who heads the Kursk government.

Igor Artamonov took 9th place in the ranking of re-elected governors, placing himself right on the border between the yellow and green zones of political stability. Compared to his Kursk colleague, Mr. Artamonov has less support in elite circles in Moscow, but in other respects the leaders are almost identical.

Kursk Governor Roman Starovoyt, based on the sum of his points, was recognized as the most politically stable re-elected governor in Russia.

Let us recall that the author of the rating, political scientist Evgeniy Minchenko, about 15 years ago developed a theory about the functioning of the president’s inner circle called “Politburo 2.0.” According to the theory, the new political elite is divided within itself into politicians, security officials, entrepreneurs and technocrats, and each group is fighting for the levers of government.
