The main venue for Victory Day celebrations in Kaluga will be Theater Square

This year, in the regional center, the main venue for the May 9 celebration will be Theater Square. There will be a concert there at 12:00. This was reported by mayor Dmitry Denisov.

The soldiers’ porridge festival will be held on the pedestrian part of Teatralnaya.

Also in the city there will be traditional events – the Victory Waltz, the Memory Relay and the Victory Candle.

In addition, the “Immortal Regiment” in the city will be held in an alternative format. Kaluga residents will decorate their memory walls with photographs of their ancestors in institutions, schools, cars and on social networks.
