Residents of a number of small villages in the Yaroslavl region use the Internet especially actively at 11 am and 6 pm, but by 7 pm, as well as at lunch, traffic drops by more than 2 times. On Saturday and Sunday, villagers use the Internet 2 times more actively than on Monday.
The data was obtained as a result of a study conducted by Beeline analysts. Experts analyzed anonymized Internet traffic data from settlements with a population of less than 500 people. The sample included Gorki, Shirinye, Dmitrievskoye, Zubarevo, Florovskoye, Parfenevo and Vyakirevo. 4G mobile internet became available in them a few months ago.
The study showed that the level of smartphone penetration in the Yaroslavl outback is quite high. In the listed settlements, 96% of Beeline clients use them.
In total, in 2023, residents of 7 small settlements in 7 districts of the Yaroslavl region received access to high-speed 4G Beeline Internet thanks to the federal project to eliminate the digital divide (EDD), which is being implemented by the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia and PJSC Rostelecom. The project focuses specifically on small villages, towns and villages with a population of up to 500 people.
Thanks to the expansion of 4G coverage, Beeline customers can stay in touch with loved ones in various situations. This is facilitated by a complex of technologies, which Beeline calls a smart network*.
