In particular, from 14.00 to 22.00 a concert program will be held in the Switzerland park, and from 12.00 to 16.00 city residents will be able to attend excursions, master classes, a number of entertainment programs, an exhibition in the park and a performance by accordion players “Songs in a Birch Grove.”
As noted in the MAUK “Directorate of Parks and Public Gardens of Nizhny Novgorod”, concert and animation programs, master classes and competitions will also be held on the territory of the Svetloyarsky and Stankozavod parks from 12:00 to 15:00.
Also, visitors to Stankozavod Park will be able to attend workshops on DJing and drumming, Zumba and string bag weaving, and guests of Svetloyarsky Park will try their hand at balance boards and painting on mini-canvases. In addition, there will be areas with craft games and performances by cover bands.
At the same time, the “Retromay” festival will be held on the territory of Avtozavodsky Park, timed to coincide with Spring and Labor Day. guests will be able to join a nostalgic procession accompanied by an orchestra performing music from the Soviet era.
“The park season is the time when the largest number of events take place in public spaces: concerts, festivals, sports competitions, film screenings and holiday concerts,” the directorate noted.
