On April 25, 40 volunteers and a UAZ vehicle left the regional assembly point for the Forstadt Cossack battalion.

The head of the department for nationalities and Cossacks affairs of the Ministry of Regional and Information Policy of the region Sergei Konnov, the ataman of the First Department of the Orenburg Cossack Army Sergei Slepov, the ministering priest of the department Father Nikolai Sopizhuk, the head of the department for work with the armed forces of the spiritual administration of Muslims of the region Bariy Hazrat came to see off and admonish their fellow countrymen Gizatullin.

Military Commissioner of the Orenburg Region Dmitry Kileev addressed the volunteers with greetings.

“The Cossacks actually proved their love for the Fatherland by standing up to defend its interests. Thank you for your service, and please accept this vehicle from the military registration and enlistment office staff to help you in your combat work,” said Colonel Kileev.

Gift to the Cossacks, car “UAZ“all-terrain vehicle,” said the military commissar of the Southern District of Orenburg, Colonel Rim Shaikhutdinov. It was noted that the Gazprom Dobycha Orenburg company helped provide technical preparation.

The priest Father Nikolai said a prayer and blessed the gift.

“The Cossacks really need this car there at the front.” On behalf of all the volunteers, I thank you for this valuable gift; it will bring our common victory closer,” said Ataman Sergei Slepov.

A detachment of 40 volunteers set off from Orenburg to the Northern Military District zone by bus. He will return home with those whose six-month contract ended these days.

In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, one and a half thousand Orenburg Cossacks have fought as part of the BARS battalions.
