The head of the city of Vladimir, Dmitry Naumov, visited the Teplichny complex as part of a working trip. Since January, more than 20 species of annual flowers have been sowed there, well adapted to the climate of our region. In the regional center, flower beds are now being prepared for the planting season.
– This year the number of plants that will decorate the city in the summer has been increased to 500 thousand. We will also actively use topiary designs. The main locations are the Lybidskaya Highway, the intersection of Stroiteley Avenue and Mira Street, entrances to the city from Moscow, Suzdal and Yuryev-Polsky. Flower beds will be planted on Studena Gora and Victory Square. We will definitely decorate the Patriotic Square for Victory Day. We will arrange a flower garden and install flowerpots with compositions of hanging plants. There are plans to purchase and install a topiary design “For Victory”, – the mayor of Vladimir said on social networks.
Further, under optimal weather conditions, flower beds will be created at the entrances to the city and in central squares and parks, as well as flower arrangements will be planted in flowerpots and vertical gardening structures. Major intersections in the city will have either flower beds or topiary structures to avoid obstructing traffic.
We are also currently exploring the possibility of purchasing perennials – peonies, phlox, daylilies, hostas.
