In the Murmansk region they want to soften the conditions for the use of drones

In the Murmansk region they plan to soften the conditions for using drones for photo and video filming.

The draft resolution provides for the following changes:

• expanding the list of bodies, organizations, enterprises, as well as legal entities and individuals entitled to use UAVs;
• establishment by local government bodies (if there is a need in agreement with territorial bodies of federal executive authorities) in the territories of populated areas of places in the airspace above which flights of unmanned aircraft can be carried out at altitudes less than 150 meters from the earth or water surface in order to meet the needs of citizens , public, sports and (or) educational organizations, without permission;
• approval of the procedure for issuing permission to operate UAV flights.

Permission can be obtained from local authorities.

Categories not included in the list must send written applications to the operational headquarters of the government of the Murmansk region (except for ZATO, where there is a special procedure for issuing permits for photo and video filming using UAVs). The corresponding sections have been created on the websites of each municipality of the Murmansk region.
