Social support measures for WWII participants have been expanded in Ryazan

On Thursday, April 25, at a meeting of the Ryazan City Duma, deputies agreed to expand the circle of persons to receive an additional measure of social support for participants, disabled people, widows of participants and disabled people of the Great Patriotic War to provide one-time financial assistance for the repair of residential premises.

The list includes persons awarded the “Resident of Siege Leningrad” badge. It was noted that such support can be received once every three years and is of an application nature.

The head of the municipality, chairman of the Ryazan City Duma Tatyana Panfilova emphasized that on the eve of Victory Day this is a very important initiative.
