In Tambov, 14 beaches and coastal areas began to be cleaned up. Specialists of the Municipal Economy Directorate must complete all preparatory work by June 1. Currently, work plans include updating the lifeguard towers and the exterior and interior of the locker rooms. Then the installation of equipment will begin – benches and sun loungers will appear on the sand.
The head of the section of the Directorate of Municipal Economy, Alla Poroshina, explained that clean sand will be brought to the coastal areas, after which the beaches will be treated from ticks and other parasites, and the water quality will also be checked. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will inspect the bottom of areas ready for swimming.
