In 2023, as part of the federal project “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment,” repairs and landscaping of the territories of 28 apartment buildings were carried out in Murmansk. The head of the city administration, Yuri Serdechkin, announced this during a report on the results of the work.
According to him, work will continue in 2024. The plans are to carry out renovations in nine courtyards, covering 23 apartment buildings.
One of the common problems remains the poor condition of asphalt concrete pavement in local areas.
“As a rule, these territories are in the area of responsibility of management companies. We understand that management companies, due to the number of years that have passed since the laying of the coating, were not able to solve the problems on their own. Therefore, funds from the regional budget have been allocated for several years now to carry out patching repairs in those courtyards that currently, due to economic reasons, cannot be included in the more global process of improvement. Over the past year, there were 147 such courtyards. The total area of work exceeded 18 thousand square meters,” said Yuri Serdechkin.
