Kaluga. 25th of April. INTERFAX – In honor of Victory Day, festivals of military defile and soldier’s porridge will be held in Kaluga; there will be no procession of the immortal regiment in the city, said mayor Dmitry Denisov.
“Alternative formats for participation in the action have been prepared. Kaluga residents will decorate the walls of memory with photographs of their ancestors in institutions, enterprises, schools, hang portraits in the windows of their houses, on cars, on social networks,” Denisov wrote in his Telegram channel.
A gala concert, a Victory Waltz, a Memory Relay and a Victory Candle, a review competition of the units of Post No. 1 are planned in the city; there will be no festive fireworks.
