In the city of Troitsk, where active work is underway to restore the Third Trinity Department of the Orenburg Cossack Army, within the walls of the Trinity Diocese a memorable meeting of the Cossacks took place with Archimandrite Paul, Bishop of the Trinity and South Ural Diocese. The initiators of the meeting were the ataman of the department, Dmitry Sergeevich Ryazanov, and the confessor of the department, Father Igor Fokin.
At the table, in an atmosphere of spiritual communication, the Cossacks had a conversation with His Eminence Archimandrite Pavel. The topic of discussion was spiritual values, which are an integral part of the Cossack worldview. Among the topics discussed, special attention was paid to honoring parents, respect for the older generation, caring for children and the elderly. The meeting emphasized the importance of instilling in the younger generation the desire for goodness and following a positive example in all their endeavors.
The conversation was attended by representatives of the Cossack villages “Kosobrodskaya” and “Troitskaya”, Cossacks of the “Atamanskaya Sotnya” farm, as well as Cossack teachers and young Cossack children from kindergarten No. 11.
Those present unanimously noted the spiritual significance of such meetings and their beneficial impact on the maintenance of Cossack traditions and the formation of correct life guidelines among young people. On the initiative of Ataman Dmitry Ryazanov, such spiritual and educational meetings will be held on a regular basis with the aim of strengthening the spiritual unity and continuity of generations among the Cossacks of the Trinity Department.
There are also plans to hold joint prayer services, cultural events and charity events aimed at preserving and reviving the historical heritage and Cossack culture.
