The Petropol company will open an apart-hotel with 111 rooms in the Vasileostrovsky district of St. Petersburg. To implement the project, the former Institute of Mechanical Engineering named after. Blagonravova on the 17th line of Vasilievsky Island will be redeveloped for hotel use.
The company bought the facility and the area underneath it in 2023. The company’s general director, Mark Lerner, noted that the rooms will range in size from 20 to 63 square meters, with penthouses with terraces on the top floor. There will be a gastrobar on the ground floor, and offices and co-working space on the second floor. The apart-hotel will be managed by Station Management Company, RBC-Petersburg reports.
According to NF Group partner Stanislav Bibik, the purchase of the building and land could cost the company 500-700 million rubles.
Earlier, PD reported that hotel construction and reconstruction projects will bring 3,500 new rooms to St. Petersburg.
