A Ferris wheel on the embankment will open in Ivanovo for the May holidays

The repair of the Ferris wheel in Ivanovo has been completed, and testing of the attraction is now underway. It will resume work on May 1.

The height of the wheel is 45 meters (like a 16-story building), it has 20 cabins with a capacity of up to 6 people each. Each booth is marked with the name of a city or regional center of the Ivanovo region – Kineshma, Shuya, Yuzha, Teykovo, Ples, Lukh, Kokhma, Gavrilov Posad, etc. For extreme sports enthusiasts there are special booths with transparent floors. The wheel makes a revolution in 9 minutes.

The Ferris wheel was installed on the embankment in 2018; last spring it was discovered that the axle bearings had failed. The attraction was closed for repairs, and all the booths had to be dismantled in the fall.
