Law enforcement officers conducted an inspection in the Leninsky and Kalininsky districts

Police officers, with the support of special forces of the Russian Guard, checked compliance with migration legislation in places where foreigners congregate in the Leninsky and Kalininsky districts of Novosibirsk. This was reported by the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the department, the police were checking the legality of the stay of foreign citizens on Russian territory. During the raid, a total of six administrative offenses were identified.

Two visitors violated the rules of entry into the country, three illegally carried out labor activities, and another, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, provided false information when carrying out migration registration.

“The violators were placed in a special temporary detention facility for foreign citizens of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Novosibirsk Region for subsequent expulsion from the Russian Federation,” the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs clarified.

Earlier, BFM-Novosibirsk wrote that Bastrykin ordered to check the situation in a building with a “cockroach apartment” in Novosibirsk.
