New ideas for the design of public spaces were proposed by young Chelyabinsk residents.

At the Headquarters of Public Support of the Chelyabinsk Region, a discussion of new ideas in the improvement of the city took place, which was held by representatives of youth movements.

The panelists believe that the design of public spaces can take place with the help of social networks, where public opinion polls can be easily done. You can involve young people in the discussion process by further including proposals that are significant for the city in the summary – this way you can motivate young people to participate in important city projects.

Young people proposed to develop a unified standard for the improvement of public areas. This will make it more convenient to control their safety. The panellists emphasized that playgrounds require special quality control. Also, one of the advantages was the coverage of the interests of all residents of the yard, and the disadvantages were the monotony, which over time can get boring for everyone.

The participants’ opinions on creating art objects in the graffiti style were divided. On the one hand, creative graffiti will be able to increase the tourist attractiveness of the Chelyabinsk region, as well as introduce residents to the history of their native land. On the other hand, control over street art should be strengthened, since drawings are not always created in suitable places, reports the press service of the Public Support Headquarters.
