A resident of Pskov was convicted of illegally purchasing drugs on a large scale, the press service of the Pskov Transport Prosecutor’s Office told PAI.
The court found that the Pskov resident illegally purchased a drug weighing 1.83 grams on the Internet for personal use. The man took the drug near the railway tracks within the boundaries of Pskov. After this, he was detained by officers of the Pskov Regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for transport.
Pskovich was found guilty of committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (purchase of a narcotic drug on a large scale without the purpose of selling). He was sentenced to three years of suspended imprisonment with a probationary period of one year and the imposition of additional duties.
