Northerners are invited to take part in the Festival of Sami music and culture in Olenegorsk – All news – News from Murmansk and the Murmansk region

Residents of the Murmansk region are invited to take part in the Festival of Sami music and culture. Information about this is posted on the VKontakte social network on the page of the Center for the Peoples of the North.

The Murmansk Regional Center for Indigenous Peoples of the North and Interethnic Cooperation, the Department for Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs of the Olenegorsk City Administration, the Polar Star Center for Culture and Leisure and the Kola Sami Association, with the support of the regional branch of the Assembly of Peoples of Russia, invite solo performers and national folklore groups, masters of arts and crafts and fine arts submit electronic applications by May 24, 2024.

The organizers also invite everyone to participate in the Tournament in national sports for the Cup of the Mayor of Olenegorsk. Teams from 5 to 10 people can take part in the tournament. Applications for participation are accepted strictly until May 31, 2024.
