Employees of the Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Ulyanovsk Region carried out a number of operational-search activities and blocked the distribution channel for herbal and synthetic drugs.
According to law enforcement officers, a 32-year-old resident of the village of Barataevka was selling prohibited substances in Ulyanovsk. To do this, he took large quantities of the drug from hiding places, packaged them into small doses and set up hiding places for final buyers.
During a personal search of the attacker, the police found 6 packages with a substance of plant origin. The forensic center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that it was hashish with a total weight of more than 150 grams.
The drug police searched the private house where the suspect lived. Marijuana production was found in the barn. For these purposes, the attacker purchased seeds of drug-containing plants, equipment for their cultivation and processing. He packaged the finished products for customers.
According to operational data, the defendant managed to sell up to 250 grams of herbal and synthetic drugs per day.
7 special varieties of cannabis bushes, five packages of marijuana with a total weight of about 300 grams ready for sale, more than 500 MDMA and LSD tablets and 18 grams of mephedrone were seized from the man.
A criminal case was opened against the defendant under Part 3 of Art. 30 and part 4 art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and was put under house arrest.
