Arrested for receiving a particularly large bribe, the now former Deputy Minister of Defense Timur Ivanov visited Voronezh in the early summer of 2020.

Let us recall that on April 24 of this year, Ivanov was accused of receiving a particularly large bribe. The deputy head of the Ministry of Defense denies any guilt. The Basmanny Court of Moscow chose a preventive measure for him in the form of two months’ arrest.

According to the press service of the Basmanny Court, Ivanov participated in a criminal conspiracy with third parties to receive a bribe. The arrested person received a particularly large bribe in the form of providing property services during contract and subcontract work for the needs of the Ministry of Defense.
