As part of the People’s Program and the New School party project, the secretary of the local branch of the United Russia party, Yulia Kupetskaya, together with representatives of the parent community, the Public Chamber, residents, teachers and the deputy corps, checked the pace of construction and the progress of work in the new school for 1,650 places, reports party press service.
About 230 people are employed at the site. To date, 75% of the facade and tile work has been completed, and 80% of the roofing has been completed. Great progress has been made in interior decoration – plastering and painting of walls is underway. The catering unit is in a high degree of readiness; finishing has been done and equipment has been delivered. The school has elevators, and installation work is currently underway. Commissioning work on elevator equipment is planned to be completed by the end of May.
Work has also begun on landscaping the surrounding area. There will be places for children to relax and play sports.
“The school has an area of 22 thousand square meters. meters will house specialized classrooms for chemistry, physics, computer science, drawing, foreign languages, biology, labor and cooking. And also an assembly hall, a library with reading areas, a dining room with two dining rooms and rooms for sports and choreography,” noted Yulia Kupetskaya.
The opening of the educational institution is planned on September 1, 2024.
Earlier, the governor of the Moscow region, Andrei Vorobyov, noted that the Moscow region is trying to ensure changes, to build those facilities that are important for every family.
“A school, a kindergarten, a clinic – without this it is impossible to imagine a quality stay in the city,” Vorobiev said.
