In the Nizhny Novgorod region, there are no plans to introduce restrictions on the sale of alcohol during the upcoming May holidays. The regional Ministry of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship reported this to the news agency “In the City of N”.
In particular, it is noted that such a ban has not been established in trade organizations at the regional level. At the same time, the Ministry of Industry noted that each municipality can independently install it during public events.
In turn, the Department of Entrepreneurship Development of the Nizhny Novgorod administration reported that partial restrictions on the sale of alcoholic beverages will still be introduced in the Volga capital itself. Thus, according to the law, retail sales of alcohol are prohibited in these places during coordinated public events.
It was previously reported that the price of barbecue meat in the Nizhny Novgorod region increased by 11% over the year.
