More than 2.2 thousand plots for housing construction have been identified in the Nizhny Novgorod region. This is unused land suitable for individual and multi-family buildings. Their total area is 3,117 hectares, the regional branch of Roskadastre reported.
Most of the identified sites – 2048 – are suitable for individual housing construction. The area of these lands reaches almost 2345 hectares. Another 182 lots on 772 hectares could be used for multi-family development.
Data as of the beginning of April was provided by the operational headquarters, which is engaged in filling the electronic service “Land for Construction”. The project was launched to bring into circulation unused areas suitable for housing construction. In 2023, it revealed about 1150 plots.
During the operation of the operational headquarters, almost 9 million square meters were involved. m of territory for construction: 720 plots for individual housing construction (59.55 hectares) and 238 for apartment building (838.70 hectares), – said the Nizhny Novgorod Roskadastre.
The “Land for Construction” service allows everyone to find out online where exactly in the Nizhny Novgorod region they can build a house. It is available on the website pkk.rosreestr.ru. In the search line you need to enter the characters “XX: *”, where “XX” is the region number. You can obtain the plot of interest through an electronic auction.
Earlier we wrote that by 2030 the authorities of the Nizhny Novgorod region expect increase the commissioning of houses by approximately 1.5 times. At the end of last year, about 1.8 million square meters of housing were commissioned in the region. The growth of the figure to 2.6 million square meters is provided for by the state program for the development of housing construction and the liquidation of the emergency fund.
