The regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported a theft from a bank account in Belgorod.
Two friends decided to have a drink. They came home to one of them and began the feast. After a while, the owner of the apartment fell asleep. His friend did not waste time, went into the banking application on his friend’s phone and transferred it to his account 30 thousand rubles. The accused deleted SMS notifications about transfers.
The victim noticed it was missing a few days later. He contacted the police, where a suspect was quickly identified. By that time, the attacker had already spent the money on bets.
As a result, a criminal case was opened against the 21-year-old guy for theft from a bank account. Now he is facing up to six years in prison.
