Kursk firefighters met with first-graders on the eve of their professional holiday. School No. 55 hosted an event for schoolchildren dedicated to Firefighter Day, which is celebrated on April 30.

The guys congratulated the firefighters with poems and presented themed drawings. Then a representative of the All-Russian Voluntary Firefighting Society reminded the first-graders the basic rules of fire safety and repeated with them the emergency call numbers “112” and “101” in a playful manner.

Firefighters from the 3rd fire and rescue unit also came to the children, who talked about the equipment of the special vehicle and made the schoolchildren feel like real rescuers.
