The park season in Nizhny Novgorod will open on May 1. According to the department of culture of the city administration, an extensive entertainment program has been prepared for this event for Nizhny Novgorod residents.
Thus, on May 1, the Switzerland Park will host excursions, master classes, entertainment programs and games for children. Exhibitions and “Songs in a Birch Grove” with an accordion player and soloists will also be organized. In addition, a concert program has been prepared for park guests.
In addition, on May 1, entertainment programs are planned in the Svetloyarsky and Stankozavod parks. According to the Directorate of Parks and Public Gardens of Nizhny Novgorod, visitors can expect concert and animation programs, master classes and competitions. The opening of the season in the parks will begin with quizzes, competitions and performances on the central stages.
Master classes will be organized for those interested. In the Stankozavod park you will be able to take training in DJing and drumming, Zumba and string bag weaving. In Svetloyarsky Park, visitors will be able to try their hand at balance boards, take a master class in modern dance, and learn the basics of painting on mini-canvases.
In addition, the parks will have areas for craft games, and the evening will end with a performance by a cover band.
