An international conference on digital resources was held at the Moscow Government University

On April 17, the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference “Public Information Resources for the City and Citizens” was held at the Moscow Government University. This year the event was attended by university students, entrepreneurs and government officials from Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, Malaysia, Russia, Singapore, Sri Lanka and other countries.

The conference was opened by Vasily Fiveysky, Rector of the Moscow Government University, as well as Andrey Dorokhin, Head of the Department of Foreign Trade Analytics and International Relations of the Department of Organizations of Foreign Economic and International Relations of the City of Moscow.

At the plenary session, experts discussed the role of information technology in urban space management and promising industry projects. They also shared interesting cases from their own experience, including a report on the use of artificial intelligence technologies in banks in Sri Lanka and the experience of digitalization of public administration in Singapore.

The meeting was moderated by Irina Gladilina, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor. Summing up, she emphasized that each report is unique and practical in nature.

“Different points of view, different problems and absolute unity in the understanding that digital literacy, digital ethics, cybersecurity are the business of every citizen, every state. It will not be possible to remain a simple observer of what is happening. It is gratifying that students are actively involved in the study of problems of public information resources and the proposals are of a very practical nature,” — noted Irina Gladilina.

The annual International Scientific and Practical Conference “Public Information Resources for the City and Citizens” is aimed at finding new effective strategies for the development of public information resources for the city and citizens in the context of digital changes and increased information security.
