Athletes from 16 regions gathered in Lipetsk for the Russian Shotgun Championship

The Russian Skeet Shooting Championship has started in Lipetsk. More than two hundred snipers from 16 regions gathered to shoot at skeet.

Concentration and the will to win are the main weapons of young shooters. The Lipetsk region team will be represented by 36 participants. Based on the results of the Russian Championship, the best in the “Trap, teams” and “Skeet, teams” exercises among juniors will be determined. The main rivals of the Lipetsk athletes are the shooters of the Tatarstan national team. The Lipetsk team confidently shows decent results and is determined to win. The competition will take place on the territory of the shooting range and will end until April 30.

“We trained a lot. I think we have a great chance of winning!” says first-class skeet shooter Yuri Borodin.

“We are starting the calendar in Lipetsk. This suggests that the Federation at the level of our state and other regions are ready to come to us. Good school, good playground,” commented First Deputy Governor of the Lipetsk Region Alexander Ryabchenko for Lipetsk Time.
