Rostov region, April 25, 2024. DON24.RU. Rostov-on-Don entered the top 10 cities with the most delicious shawarma. This is stated in the results of a survey of the travel service “Tutu”.
The cultural capital of our country, St. Petersburg, takes first place in the ranking. More than 25% of the travelers surveyed answered that it was there that they tried the most delicious shawarma. Moscow took second place in the top – 19.3% voted for it.
Kazan is located above the Don capital. Rostov-on-Don takes fourth place in the ranking – 5.3% of respondents believe that the best shawarma is prepared here. Also included in the top are Krasnodar, Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Ufa and Samara.
Let us remind you that in August last year, a 15-meter shawarma was prepared in the Rostov region. Then 13 specialists worked on the dish for 20 minutes. Later, the giant shawarma was cut into pieces and distributed to curious Rostovites.
In September 2023, the regional department of Rosselkhoznadzor revealed that more than 20 Don entrepreneurs were producing popular fast food from meat of unknown origin.
A month later, it became known that in Rostov, due to mass poisonings, the activities of a shawarma stall were suspended.
