A pair of Pskov storks sent to Ryazan in 2020 produced 15 chicks, AiF-Pskov reports, citing ornithologist Marina Sidenko.

From the territory of the Pskov region, storks are delivered to the “Ryazan White Stork House”, which is engaged in reintroduction (relocation to the territory where they previously lived). In addition, to restore the population of these birds on Ryazan land, the “House of the White Stork” sends its storks there.

This winter, three more disabled storks arrived in Ryazan, who must produce offspring to populate the region.

Earlier it was reported that the surgeon was unable to save the wing of a wounded stork from the Pustoshkinsky district.
