In Kirov, cemeteries continue to be treated against ticks with acaricides. Now the contractor Medprof is doing this at the Staromakarevsky churchyard, the city administration reported.
The first stage of processing cemeteries is scheduled to be completed by May 9. By this day they promise to secure an area of 282.2 hectares. The second stage of cleaning cemeteries from ticks will begin in July.
By the way, 47 new viruses transmitted by mosquitoes and 14 by ticks were discovered in Russia. This situation is now being investigated by Rospotrebnadzor.
