In the Ryazan region, the police caught poachers. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs.

On the territory of the Meshchera National Park, operatives stopped illegal fishing from the Pra River. A 47-year-old resident of the village of Starozhilovo was caught red-handed on the spot; he was using a net.

It is noted that during spawning, fishing in the rivers of the Ryazan region is prohibited. On the territory of the Meshchera National Park, this restriction applies all year round.

A criminal case has been initiated against the attacker under Part 1 of Art. 256 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which provides for punishment in the form of a fine in the amount of 300 to 500 thousand rubles, or imprisonment for up to 2 years
