The best families of this year were identified in the Arkhangelsk region

The competition took place as part of the Decade of Childhood and the presidential national project “Demography”

Acting Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Development of the Arkhangelsk Region Vladimir Toropov reported an annual increase in the number of participants in the competition. This year there were 77 applications from 22 municipalities, compared to 42 from 18 districts and districts last year. The number of applications in the categories “Golden Family”, “Sports Family”, “Young People Are Everywhere” and “Rural Family” has doubled. The selection of winners became more difficult, but they were determined.

The winners of the competition “Best Family of the Arkhangelsk Region – 2024” have been announced. Vadim and Olga Golovko from Koryazhma won in the “Family is the seven selves” nomination, where spouses raising three or more children participate. The winners in the “The Art of Being a Family” category were Sergei and Kristina Paersky from Novodvinsk, who are raising foster children.

Ilya and Ekaterina Mordovins from Ustyan won in the “Young People Are Everywhere” category, and Vasily and Nadezhda Brovins from the Vilegodsky District won in the “Golden Family” nomination, which involves couples who have been married for at least 50 years. They are an example of commitment to family values, strengthening multigenerational ties, citizenship and patriotism.

The family of Alexander and Irina Sidorov from the Verkhnetoyemsky district became the best rural family. They actively participate in social life, creative and sporting events. The family of Sergei and Nadezhda Porokhin from Arkhangelsk was recognized as the most athletic.

The history of the family, the labor dynasty and the traditions of national culture are carefully preserved in the family of Georgy Minyaev and Vera Chumakova from the Verkhnetoyemsky district. They won in the category “Family is the keeper of traditions.”

The families of Lev and Alevtina Yurkin from Ustyan and Gennady and Ekaterina Ostankovich from Pinega became diploma winners of the competition. The award ceremony for the winners will take place at the regional government on May 15, International Family Day.
