In 2023, the construction of three water supply facilities was completed in the Tula region – in the Severo-Zadonsk microdistrict in Donskoy, in the Tsentralny village of the Suvorovsky district, and also in the Teploye village of the Teplo-Ogarevsky district. Also, 78 water supply facilities were reconstructed and repaired, Vyacheslav Fedorishchev said during a report on the results of the regional government’s work in the housing and communal services sector for 2023.

This year, under the federal project “Clean Water,” the construction of three water treatment stations in Bogoroditsk, Novomoskovsk and Cherny should be completed. And according to the regional project in 23 municipalities they plan to replace and lay 18.1 km of water supply networks, reconstruct and repair 76 water supply facilities. In addition, according to Fedorishchev, work has continued to replace worn-out 57 water towers. He also emphasized that the share of residents of the region provided with quality water will be 94.2 percent.

The construction of wastewater treatment plants has also already been completed in the village of Dubna and the village of Voskresenskoye, Dubensky district: “This has reduced the volume of polluted wastewater and improved the quality of the ecological environment for more than 8 thousand people.” And this year they are going to complete the construction of a wastewater treatment plant in the working village of Arsenyevo. The construction of treatment plants has begun in Slavny and in the village of Teploye in the Teplo-Ogarevsky district.

Design and estimate documentation has been developed for the reconstruction of wastewater treatment facilities in Donskoy and Suvorov. It is reported that a positive expert opinion has already been received for two projects in Belyov and Kireevsk; according to Venev, the planned period is until the end of 2024.

In addition, the first stage of reconstruction of Tula treatment facilities has begun – the construction of a mechanical sludge dewatering workshop, which is planned to be put into operation in 2025. The implementation of the project will reduce the discharge of untreated wastewater into water bodies, increase the comfort of people’s living environment, and involve new territories in housing construction.

Fedorishchev also noted that the region is actively attracting funds within the framework of the mechanisms of the federal project “Infrastructure Menu”. Thus, more than 110 km of heating networks are replaced annually, with an average of 40 km in neighboring regions – Kaluga, Oryol, Ryazan.

Also in 2023, eight boiler houses were reconstructed and built, and 111.56 km of heating networks were replaced. Plans for 2024 include the reconstruction of one and the construction of 11 boiler houses, the replacement of 111.38 km of dilapidated heating networks.

Under the overhaul program, more than 3 thousand types of work and services were performed in 1097 houses, 22 elevators were replaced. In 2024, it is planned to repair 664 apartment buildings and replace 117 elevators.

According to the post-gasification plan, gas pipelines are connected to the boundaries of the land plots of about 6,500 households. Gas has been supplied to almost 3,000 houses. In 2024, it is planned to supply gas to more than 4,500 households.
