Authorities explained why the shutdown may be delayed.
Residents of the Moscow region are looking forward to the end of the heating season. As previously reported by the regional government, the process should be completed by April 26. In many municipalities, notices have already been posted on residential buildings to stop heating on April 25-26. However, things can still change.
As TASS reports with reference to Vice-Governor Evgeny Khromushin, on April 26 the batteries will become cool if the weather conditions are favorable and there are no night frosts. If on the night of Friday, April 26, the thermometer drops to zero again, as happened at the beginning of this week in some districts of the region, the heating season will be extended in the interests of residents. Approximately until April 30.
