A 42-year-old local resident was sentenced in Kirov. The man did not pay child support.

According to the regional prosecutor’s office, the man had already been tried for a similar crime, but he never paid child support for the 16-year-old. As a result, the convicted person incurred a debt of over 40 thousand rubles.

The court sentenced the Kirov resident to six months in prison. He will serve it in a maximum security colony.

Earlier, a 28-year-old local resident was sentenced in the Podosinovsky district. A man did not pay child support for six months for his five-year-old daughter and three-year-old son.
