New display objects have been created in the city, media44 learned.
New tourist facilities were presented to representatives of the tourism industry in Kostroma the day before, the press service of the mayor’s office reports.
Thus, guests of the regional capital will be told about Kostroma and the creativity of its inhabitants in the museum of modern craftsmanship “What a Lepota” on Gornaya and Sovetskaya streets. The products of more than 130 artisans of the city and region are collected here. Master classes in painting, ceramics, and candle painting are organized for tourists. Also, Kostroma residents and city guests can create jewelry from epoxy resin, vintage wreaths, felt a brooch from wool, create perfume from oils, or sing in folk therapy classes.
In the near future, it is planned to open another museum on Gornaya Street. Its visitors will be able to learn about the evolution of photography, its influence on culture and art, and also understand its significance in the modern world. The museum will have multimedia stands and interactive exhibits. In the darkroom, visitors will be able to expand their knowledge of photography. It is planned to conduct educational programs, lectures, master classes and seminars for visitors of all ages. The museum will offer tours, workshops, exhibitions of contemporary photography and other events.
The project of the tourist trail “Mazai Hares in Kostroma” has already become a favorite among Kostroma residents and guests of the regional capital. In the central part of the city there are 10 figurines of hares in the images of townspeople of the 19th century. Each figure is accompanied by a plaque with a QR code that leads to a web page describing the character. This hare trail can be walked either independently or with a guide.
