A residential building for renovation will be commissioned in Novogireevo in 2024

The construction of a residential building for resettlement under the renovation program will be completed this year in the Novogireevo area in the east of the capital. The head of the Construction Department, part of the Complex of Urban Planning Policy and Construction of the City of Moscow, Rafik Zagrutdinov, spoke about this.

“For resettlement under the renovation program, this year a residential building will be put into operation in the Novogireevo district at the address: Martenovskaya Street, property 39. Currently, the installation of monolithic structures has been completed, glazing of the facades and the installation of utility networks are underway. The building has 147 apartments, three of which will be equipped for residents with limited mobility,” said Rafik Zagrutdinov.

The residential building will be single-section with an underground parking lot; it will be built according to an individual project. The facades will be ventilated and lined with porcelain stoneware slabs. To maintain the uniform appearance of the building, metal baskets for air conditioners will be installed on the facades. The entrance areas will be decorated with stained glass glazing.

The building has 147 apartments: 42 one-room, 74 two-room, 26 three-room and five four-room. Three apartments will be equipped for residents with limited mobility. They will increase the width of corridors and doorways, install special plumbing, sockets, a door peephole, and window handles will be located at an accessible level. The finished, improved finishing in the new apartments will fully comply with the renovation standards approved by the Moscow Government. The first floor of the building will be made non-residential to house the lobby of the residential part, an elevator hall, a storage room for cleaning equipment, an area for mailboxes and technical rooms.

To move between floors, three modern elevators will be installed in the house: two with a lifting capacity of 1000 kilograms and one with a lifting capacity of 630 kilograms, they will be equipped with visual and tactile information aids.

The new building will be equipped with security systems for the entrance to the building, warning and evacuation control systems in case of fire, fire alarm systems, and video surveillance.

The entrance to the building, the floor of the lobbies and elevator halls on the ground floor will be level with the ground surface. Thanks to this, mothers with strollers and people with limited mobility will be able to get into the entrance without assistance. Tiles with a rough surface at the entrance of the house will prevent slipping at any time of the year.

The local area will be landscaped and landscaped: trees and shrubs will be planted, lawns and flower beds will be laid out, a children’s playground with a safe rubber surface, a sports ground will be installed, and an area for quiet recreation for adults will be created.

The renovation program was approved in August 2017. It concerns about a million Muscovites and provides for the resettlement of 5,176 houses. In 2023 alone, 59 new buildings in the capital were handed over for settlement and over 47 thousand people were resettled. Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin ordered to double the pace of implementation of the renovation program.

Moscow is one of the leaders among regions in terms of pace and volume of construction. In recent years, within the framework of the regional project “Housing” of the national project “Housing and Urban Environment”, the volume of construction and commissioning of residential buildings in the capital has doubled – from three million to five to seven million square meters per year.
