In the Kurgan Regional Art Museum named after. G.A. Travnikov opened a traditional spring exhibition. Its participants were 52 author from Kurgan, Shadrinsk, Kataysk, Kurtamysh and Dalmatovsky district. Each painting is unique and inimitable in its own way. Some works are lighter and lighter, others are made in dark colors and convey concentration, static and immediately attract attention with a combination of colors. There are experienced artists, but there are also many young masters. Some paintings are even a little scary and repulsive, but this is what makes them stand out from the rest. Creations of sculptors made of ceramics and batik are also presented.
— The opening of the exhibition is a real holiday for me. However, this is not only a pleasant meeting, but also learning. Here we see how we ourselves grow and how our colleagues develop. The need for exhibitions was the first condition of the Union of Artists of Russia, and now trans-Ural authors are actively joining such events, which is very pleasant. Previously, artists were not divided into amateur and professional. This is correct, because talent develops from skill. I advise everyone to go to exhibitions in museums to develop observation and improve themselves – said the People’s Artist of Russia German Travnikov .
The exhibition will last until May 20. Everyone is invited to watch it and get into the spring mood.
Earlier, Novy Mir wrote that the Kurgan artist Andrey Vankov presented his works in St. Petersburg. The exhibition is dedicated to images from Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy, and his daughter Anastasia created silk illustrations based on his works.
