An ancient church is being revived in Lebedevo.
In the village of Lebedevo near Tver, the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, built at the beginning of the 20th century, is being reconstructed. On April 23, a metal frame was installed on the roof of the church under the dome structure and the domes were raised. Before the work began, a short prayer service was performed, and the structure and domes were sprinkled with holy water.
– The church building will take on its final appearance after the crosses are installed on the domes. The consecration and installation of crosses is planned for May, reports the Tver diocese.
