Governor Alexander Bogomaz reported on his social networks that large-scale measures to support military personnel and their families have been adopted and are in effect in the Bryansk region, RIA Strela reports.
The State Fund for Supporting Participants of the Northern Military District “Defenders of the Fatherland” was created by presidential decree. The activities of the fund are aimed at providing psychological assistance, assisting in establishing the status of “Combat Veteran”, and obtaining medical and social assistance.
The Bryansk region is one of the few subjects of Russia where certain support measures were in effect even before the start of the SVO.
