In Nizhny Novgorod, it is planned to change the route of E-11 electric buses. Now it connects the Proletarskaya metro station in the Leninsky district with Plotnikova Street at Avtozavod. In May, the route will be extended and a roundabout will be organized. This was reported by the Center for the Development of Transport Systems (CDTS).

The new route E-11 will also start from Proletarskaya, it will pass through Perekhodnikova Street, Busygina Avenue, Dyakonov, Raevsky and Plotnikov streets. Next, the electric bus will travel through Krasnodontsev Street, Oktyabrya Avenue, turn around at Kiselev Square and return through Lenin Avenue to the Proletarskaya metro station.

Let us remind you that E-11 became the first launched electric bus in Nizhny Novgorod. It started running last February. By the end of March, the number of cars on the route was increased: this made it possible to reduce waiting intervals to 8–15 minutes.

Also in winter, electric buses began running at the Avtozavod E-22. They run from Mineev Street to the 7th entrance of GAZ. In May, their route will be extended to Kosmicheskaya Street. Another electric bus route in the same area is E-4 — connects Plotnikova streets and the Torpedo residential complex.

In the upper part of the Volga region capital, they launched E-17. It duplicates the route of the 17th trolleybus from Minin and Pozharsky Square to the Tsvety residential complex. In total, electric buses should be available on 11 city routes. Their list has been published Here.
