The regional stage of the All-Russian patriotic action “St. George’s Ribbon” started on the Military Glory Square in the regional center, RIA Strela reports.
Governor of the Bryansk Region Alexander Bogomaz, Chief Federal Inspector for the Bryansk Region of the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Central Federal District Andrei Dyachuk, deputy governors, head of the city of Bryansk Marina Dbar, Heroes of Russia Andrei Frolenkov, Alexander Postoyalko, representatives of executive authorities, student groups, were present at the event. The ribbon was and remains a symbol of the valiant soldiers of the Great Patriotic War.
Alexey Kalmykov, a student fighter, spoke to the event participants. He spoke about the importance of the St. George’s Ribbon campaign.
