In the Tambov region, security measures will be strengthened for the May holidays. This was announced by the Head of the Tambov Region, Maxim Egorov, at a meeting of the regional anti-terrorism commission in the Government.
It was decided not to hold the traditional mass procession on May 1. The ceremonial march of the Tambov garrison troops on May 9 will also take place without spectators. The “Immortal Regiment” campaign will also be held online.
“The May holidays are ahead: May Day, Victory Day and Easter. Various events are planned. I ask you to develop additional measures to strengthen anti-terrorism protection and comprehensive security for residents. It is necessary to coordinate the actions of all services in advance in order to ensure safety and at the same time create conditions for a comfortable stay for residents and guests of the region. Everything must be organized clearly and professionally,” – noted the Head of the Tambov region Maxim Egorov.
