The event was organized as part of the patriotic forum “St. George’s Gathering” and attracted participants from various schools, patriotic clubs, youth and search teams, as well as guides of school museums not only from Kursk and the Kursk region, but also from other regions.

This year marks the centenary of the birth of Mikhail Alekseevich Bulatov, which was the reason for holding the conference. The event was attended by the director of the Palace of Pioneers and Schoolchildren Alexander Trubnikov, the Hero’s daughter Natalya Bulatova and representatives of veteran organizations. Alexander Trubnikov emphasized the importance of Mikhail Bulatov’s legacy and his wisdom, which continues to inspire new generations. He noted: “The Hero’s legacy lives on and is passed on through generations. You continue our history.”

The event ended with summing up the results of the correspondence stage of the conference and awarding the winners whose student research works were presented at the event.
