Yaroslavl specialist in issuing microloans was convicted of embezzlement

This was reported in the press service of the regional prosecutor’s office.

The embezzlement was discovered in the Poshekhonsky district. A 40-year-old woman worked in a company that issued microloans. Starting from September 2021 to February 2023, she accepted payments from 15 people. But the money did not arrive at the cash register, but remained in the woman’s hands.

As a result, the damage amounted to 170 thousand rubles. A criminal case was opened regarding the misappropriation of funds. It was considered by the Poshekhonsky District Court. The sentence turned out to be very lenient. The embezzler was only prohibited from engaging in activities related to the maintenance of material assets. And only for two years.
